As a result, beneath the aggressive look is a strong, lightweight PB e-cLc shell with a smooth, rounded shape, reinforced with Arai’s proprietary peripheral belt to glide over surfaces and bounce off obstacles. The VAS-VC visor system, with its mechanical retro look, further enhances vision performance by lowering the visor pivot point to maximize a smooth top shell. Although it is reminiscent of the past, the Concept-X is, to a large extent, a helmet of the present.
